If there is a large amount of black in the prints a good way to improve durability is to print with a photo black setting. For example, try using something like HP Premium ID Satin or HP Universal ID SemiGloss. This may result in some lower densities but will improve durability, especially in areas containing larger amounts of black ink. Feel free to call us with any other questions at 1-888-893-4668.

Photo black is accessed by the media setting you choose. HP Everyday Matte Polypropylene is designed to work best with matte black but durability can be improved by using photo black. If you have pictures or videos you want to share please call the number above and someone can help you get them to me. If there is something more happening I should be able to tell. I would highly recommend trying the settings above first to see if you are happy with the improvements.
